Channels

Six places your customers already write to you.

Each channel has its own rules — who can start a conversation, how long you have to reply, and what you may send outside that window. Connect them once and they all arrive in the same inbox, with the same agent behind them.

  • One agent across all of them
  • Same tags and fields
  • Connect in minutes

The differences that matter

What changes from one channel to another.

What it isWhat it means for your setup
Who can startOn most messaging platforms the customer starts. Business-initiated messages are either restricted or require a pre-approved template.
The reply windowMost platforms give you a limited window after the customer’s last message to reply freely. After it, only specific message types are allowed.
What the agent needsThe same agent works everywhere. What changes is formatting: buttons, lists and media differ per platform, and the flow adapts.
IdentityEach channel identity is a separate subscriber with its own id. Custom fields can be shared so the customer is not asked twice.

Platform policies and windows change. Each channel page states what applies today; verify the platform’s current documentation before you commit to a client SLA.

Start with the channel that already has the traffic.

For most businesses in the region that is WhatsApp. Connect it, let the agent handle one night, and add the rest afterwards.
